INTRODUCTIONThis specification provides the definition of the Insurance premium payment message (PRPAID) to be used in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) between trading partners involved in administration, commerce and transport. 1. SCOPE1.1. Functional DefinitionThe Insurance Premium Payment message is used by communicating parties to notify the recipient about premiums to be collected, paid, not paid or partly paid, either individually or in series via borderaux or statements. The exchanging partners are insurers and insurance intermediaries. 1.2. Field of ApplicationThe Insurance Premium Payment message is applicable for both national and international insurance. 1.3.
